While experiencing my first drive-in movie at the Sky-Vue in June of 2002, I felt a calling to share this slice of Americana. I grew up hearing great stories about the people, the events, and the food that made this small west Texas business the pride of the town. Over 50 years later, Smith recalled the moment he realized he wanted to open his own drive-in.
